Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Diane responded back with: The differences depend on how much lactose is in the blend to dilute it to potency. Iti s an organic material and sometimes it is fluffier, heavier, lighter or darker. This is a normal change in the material. We only use one supplier to keep things as consitant as we can. ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Hi All, Everything is going well. But I do have a question. After 2 orders of 500G's I opened my first order of 1 Kilo from Diane 2 days ago and have noticed it takes about 3 - 4 tablespoons of warm water to get the same consistency I used to get with 2 tablespoons. With 2 tablespoons of warm water ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Good Point Elisabeth, I don't know. Just thought I needed to get her tested again. B12 would be a good excuse I guess. Was so proud of my fur-babies this morning!!! Let them out and they started barking at something. We have a family of possums that made their home on my patio cover in the small spa...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Thank You Olesia, I'm trying to not change things, including food too much. I did over the past 3 days add a duck jerky treat after meals while she has the enzymes fresh in her. So far so good, nothing has changed so far. I'm also dealing with her brother too! He's the finicky eater, so what I give ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

All is well!!! She's down to 2 meals a day now and doing fine. She's doing better than her brother!!! She finishes her meals in the morning and the evening. Her brother many days doesn't touch his breakfast until 2 in the afternoon, so I have to put it away so Sassy can't get at his food and then tr...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Hi All, Sorry I haven't updated in about 2 weeks, I've been busy. All is well, poops are back to about a 2-3 and have been holding there for almost 2 weeks. I do have one question though: Do EPI dogs continue to have larger poops in size and quantity than non-EPI dogs? She does eat more than her bro...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Oh yeah Jean, we gave her a deworming treatment before anything else while I was away in NJ. I had read that it might be causing her cow pies so I thought it was worth a try. Then the vet put her on an antibiotic for 7 days prior to being tested for EPI. I still might need to have her treated for SI...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Thanks All, I'm going to say Sassy lost about 6 lbs over about a month. That would have been about 10% of her normal weight then of 61 lbs. So it wasn't as bad as many I have read about here. Maybe because she was free fed? I noticed her being skinny more the last 2 weeks, but then again I was in NJ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Elisabeth, I read where it's supposed to keep for up to 2 years. So I thought a 6 month supply of 3 or 4 Kilos would give me peace of mind. Thanks for your input.
