Re: Molly's blood test are in confusing
Hi Jill, I think it was you who mentioned on my first post it didn't seem like Molly has EPI?! As for the enzymes I have not heard of the plant enzymes you listed. I researched the two you listed and they may be an option! I'll run it by the vet too. I've tied capsules from health food store with ma...

Re: Molly's blood test are in confusing
Hi Olesia, Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I will take your suggestion and retest down the road! I don't know for sure if Molly needs the intrinsic factor (I feel like she does). The vet leans toward a more holistic approach vs isolating the B12. She suggested Cataplex B, it does not have a...

Molly's blood test are in confusing
I got Molly's blood tests back. Please share any feedback and or experiences you have with this! I'm working with a new holistic vet who isn't that versed with EPI. She did consult with an internist on Molly's blood work. TLI was normal 24.7 says the range is 5-35. Pancreatic Lipase immuno is 50 in ...

Re: Please advise! Newly diagnosed EPI Found Bloody Stool!
Yes, ok good to know the dosing. I've been giving SE in her food for a few months, a 1/4-1/2 tsp, so I was on the right dosing, whew! LOL Hopefully I will get her EPI blood test results back tomorrow. So I'll know more soon! Thanks! Slippery elm contains a type of soluble fiber known as mucilage. Mu...

Re: Please advise! Newly diagnosed EPI Found Bloody Stool!
Darn my area would be higher priced! Ugh. Oh well I've scheduled her EPI fasting blood drawl for Wednesday morning. So hopefully the tests will give some definition and guidelines for treating her! She's been on the enzymes 6x From Enzyme Diane for over a month and they are making a difference. I'm ...

Cost of TLI and B12 blood tests?
I'm wondering what the average fees in the US are for the TLI, B12 and folate blood tests. If anyone has had the blood tests recently would you share what you paid for the blood tests? I am taking my dog to a new holistic vet and the fee for the blood tests they quoted is $350.00. It is quite a bit ...

Re: Please advise! Newly diagnosed EPI Found Bloody Stool!
Jill, Do you know what the going rate is for the Tli and B12 blood tests? Vet just emailed me saying the fee for the blood tests would be $350.00. That is higher than what is posted on line...not that is always reliable! enzymediane.com. 6x If it is pancreatitis, even though the pup is on enzymes, t...
