Re: New Labs

Hi Diane. I am jumping in here just to say, that it would be wonderful to figure out how to get great poops 100% of the time, but for me, in five years, this has never happened. There is a phenomenon where the morning poo is much firmer than the one that happens later on. Olesia suggested adding a l...

Re: 3 weeks in, will tylosin be the answer?

Enzymes are deactivated by the cold and killed by the heat, is my understanding. I would think preparing the food ahead, placing it in the fridge & THEN adding enzymes and setting the food out for 20 minutes, might warm it up enough to let the enzymes do their job. But you shouldn't mix the enzy...

Re: 3 weeks in, will tylosin be the answer?

Well, it certainly is repetitive, since I seem to have submitted it two or three times.

Sorry, and I see that Olesia already said what I said.

SO, welcome to the forum! ---Pam

Re: 3 weeks in, will tylosin be the answer?

Hi, Angie, and welcome to the forum. Your little guy is adorable. I just wanted to pop in & make sure that the 3/4 teaspoon of enzymes is going into 3/4 cup of food, because the formula is 1 teaspoon per 1 cup. Too much enzyme can have a negative effect. Also, when he's feeling better, to help h...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

Andrea---I wonder if you could use the formula for canned food, which seems to be about 3/4 teaspoon per cup? Can you take her serving, chop it up & measure it in a cup? On another note, after Nina cracked open two of the capsules yesterday morning, and followed with a really gooey poo, these la...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

Andrea--It's so easy to slip up, especially at the vet. I bought the 00 enteric coated capsules on Amazon. Maybe 1,000 for 23 dollars, I can't remember. I fill the to the top of the flat part & then put the lid on. I can see maybe 10% light at the top, when I look through it. This is more enzyme...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

GUYS---this morning Nina's poo was perfect, and there was about half as much. I decided to stick with giving her B12 & SE in the morning instead of evening today, but I'm also gonna give a capsule of SE with her dinner. I'm a little worried that this morning I heard a crunch while two of the fou...

Re: New Page on "possible" Cost Savings with enzymes

This morning Nina's poo was soft, B U T---I had forgotten to give her B12 & slippery elm with her dinner last night. So much focus on enzymes in capsules! This morning I slid each capsule into 1/2 a lil' smoky, gave her the slippery elm with her breakfast, and had a better result this afternoon....

Creating a Signature is Helpful

Hi All--- I don't mean to overstep, but I would like to point out the usefulness of the signature. When you go to your profile, there is an option to create a SIGNATURE. Mine is at the bottom of this posting. In your signature, you can post your dog's test results & other interesting things abou...
