Re: EPI and mood/aggression
Jean Titan is kind of hit-or mostly miss with people other than me. He was fine as a puppy and then when my ex and I split up he became very bonded to me. He struggles to accept anyone else into our pack. His appointment with his new vet is this afternoon and I will see if they will consider some an...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
His poop has become a bit hit or miss but am persisting with the Tylan and TI. Poop volume is more than I would like and not super solid yet. He has also amped up his separation anxiety at night to the point where he will not sleep unless I am in the room with him.... this dog is really testing my p...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
I am trialing Purina One TI, High protein. Initial results look good - solid stool with less volume than on Earthborn. I am weaning him off of the Chicken and Rice supplement too and aim to be 100% kibble by weekend when my new Tylan arrives.

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
Hi Pam, I ordered Tylan from Allivet - similar pricing. The only delay was my current vet approving the script... I too wish that his appointment with the new vet were sooner. I totally agree with you on this Forum being the most wonderful gift ever. The experience and knowledge is completely incred...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
This forum has really been a Godsend. Titan is lying sleeping at my feet now and his stomach has quietened down considerably. His stools are improving in color but consistency is still varied. I am trying to find a food with lower fiber and my try Purina One True Instinct (He is on Earthborn Large b...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
Barb, Unfortunately indont have details of his TLI test. The vet has been very unhelpful providing information to date and only really does anything if I push them. With the new vet I figured it might be best to start from baseline zero and go from there. I will see what their advice is Today is day...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
Madelon, The Tylan was prescribed to me by the Vet in question - rather reluctantly I might add! I have been emptying two capsules into food twice daily. I started a baseline chicken/rice/cottage cheese regimen to get him back on track and eating. I am on day 4 of that and slowly transitioning some ...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
Jean, Thanks for the input. My current vet has been as much use as a chocolate teapot. They gave me capsules of Tylan powder and dosed at 1/day.... I am going to order a tub of powder from an online vet supplier so I can get his dosage right. I have put Titan on a chicken/rice/cottage cheese diet to...

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
The Tylan i got from the vet is powder, but in the little clear capsules. I have been popping the capsule open and adding it to his food. What dose are you suggesting per meal?
I can hopefully buy bulk Tylan online.

Re: EPI and mood/aggression
He was weighed at the vets 2 weeks ago at 97lbs. He is not eating well right now and I am putting that down to him not feeling well. I may try him with Chicken and Rice to get at least something into him. I also gave him a B12 shot today to try to boost that until I can get the Wonderlabs B12. The T...
