Re: New Member introduction and questions
Thank you Madelon and Jean! No, we have never had the ears or the paws cultured but the next time I definitely will push for that. The first foot pad infection ( Jan 2nd ) the vet gave Boone a Depo Medrol shot and some antibiotics. The 2nd (Jan 22nd) was the opposite front paw, again some antibiotic...

Re: New Member introduction and questions
Jean it’s funny that you say paw and ear issues. Boone has had many paw and ear infections since we’ve gotten him at 4 months old. He is currently on Tresaderm drops for his ears and Betagen topical spray for his paws and Ketoseb+PS shampoo 2-3 times a week for his skin. The vet explained like in th...

Re: New Member introduction and questions
Hey Pam I know Gainesville well, my son just graduated from UF. My daughter, Boone’s mommy, goes to college in SC, and my other daughter lives in Ocala, your neighbor. I saw that there was a good EPI veterinarian in Gainesville at UF. It is good to hear that things will get better, I have to keep te...

Re: New Member introduction and questions
Hi Madelon as far as I know Boone doesn’t have any worms. We treat him with heart-guard plus and have done the deworming medication each time we went to the vet with the diarrhea (just in case we missed something) This is the first time that we have taken doses of Panacur home, 5 days 1 time daily. ...

Re: New Member introduction and questions
Happy Valentine’s Day! Ok I ordered the enzymes, the b12, and the slippery elm. I have not placed an order for the Tylan because I will hopefully get that from the vet when we get his results. We have insurance for him so I hope some of this is covered eventually. I got the other stuff because I hig...
