EPIs sake, everything will be passed in a day or two. It might have a bunch of undigested food in it but it will pass.
It might trigger some SIDs effects though.

Regardless of them being coated or not, you will probably have to experiment with dosage. The description says it breaks down in the GI tract. Super non specific.

I agree with Both Jill and Andrea... usually prescription food is not needed with an EPI dog UNLESS there is another medical condition that requires special food.

Thanks for writing in but so sorry your dog is struggling.
Has he been diagnosed with Chronic Pancreatitis or Acute Pancreatitis? With Acute Pancreatitis you have to be very careful and not give extra enzymes.......

For Lypex, the enzymes themselves (ie: capsule contents) is enteric coated. So it's completely fine to sprinkle contents over food. And makes sense, especially when you aren't using a full pill. I do keep a bottle that holds...
