Re: RUNNY NOSE SINCE STARTING PANCREPLUS

Good morning. Are you using the 1 level teaspoon enzyme to 1 cup kibble ratio? My Mick got 1/3 teaspoon enzyme per 1/3 cup kibble each day. Are you mixing well and letting it incubate 15 to 20 mins before serving? After your pup eats wipe snout with clean wet towel to make sure no enzyme is on there...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis - Feeling Overwhelmed...

Feed it with an enzymed meal in some cream cheese or peanut butter or the likes. How to camouflage Tylan Tylan is very nasty – bitter tasting… some dogs w...

So when you say 1/2 scoop is that the dose from this site? Mine readily eat it. You can put it on the food and mix it in I thought you might be between meals. Have the last throw ups been foam and grass? Mickey was the only one who could mow the lawn without bringing it back up. The other 2 eat it t...

Re: Help- new and can't stop the diaherea

Hi and welcome. I am so sorry you can't get you pup squared away. Olesia gave you great advice. Try keeping a daily log also, you might be doing that already. At the beginning of Spring my jack russell goes on Apoquel 1- 3.6 mg tab a day for a week. Then he gets half a tablet after that per fay. I u...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis - Feeling Overwhelmed...

Hi Lisa. It sounds like SID/SIBO to me. Especially the burping. Is she taking Tylan daily I don't recall. Sure you can try the Slippery elm. I would just mix her dose for the weight with a quarter to half cup water and let it set until it gets a little thick. Then let her lap it up. Has she always b...

Re: If you had a choice of enzyme, which would you pick?

Hi Jen, The vet sent us on our way with a bottle of Pancreazyme and instructions of 1 teaspoon with every meal. Well Mick was 18lbs, had pancreatitis and ate 4 meals a day of 1/3c kibble per meal. I kept thinking oh no at 4 teaspoons per day this bottle won't last long and price will be ruinous! Did...
