Re: Sushi's Saga
That is interesting. Are both strengths on the enzyme bags the same? 6x or 8x? Mickey had pancreatitis and a consultant here sometimes, Dr. Penny, told me "just because you are using enzymes on his food now doesn't mean you can increase his fat content of his diet". More than 10% fat in hi...

Hi Kelly. I am not familiar with that brand of enzyme. Seems to be a mix containing also plant enzymes. If your pup indeed has Epi the plant enzymes would not be strong enough. Re: NINA
I wouldn't think 1 B12 cap would do it, maybe skip it or use half capsule.
I can't comment on the flea and tick medicines. I started using deterrants instead of meds after Kiya had an issue.

Re: Kidney issues
The only thing I know to cause increase in SDMA is when the Glomular Filtration Rate is low and concentration of the urine is off. Since you are feeding gently cooked tilapia can you add some cooked or raw chicken kidney to the diet? I have been reading that when an organ is having an issue , feedin...

Re: New here and needing feeding advice
On the enzyme tablets you will need to crush those and mix into the food and incubate just like the powder. So you won't get by the taste of enzymes using tablets. I would suggest getting a capsule filler and wear laytex gloves. Breathing in powder dust or getting too much on your hands can cause ir...

Hi Wende, I haven't heard this either.
How about introducing Joy to the forum and let us know what your daily Epi routine is?
Please include what Joy is eating, test results, any medications, etc.
Thanks
Jill
