Re: NINA

It all makes sense! The connection between gut health & the immune system, plus all the stress of everything. Here in FL, though, you have to protect from heart worms. The Seresto Collar stays on for months, but next time I do the revolution I'll take it off for a day or so. However, this girl i...

Re: NINA

So I did skip B12 tonight, but even if she has firm stool tomorrow I won't be able to assume that was the culprit. Her B12 is low & she needs it. I did put in an order for TOW grain-free, and at some point I'll transition over to it. Her poop wasn't awful, a bit like soft serve, but there was a ...

Re: NINA

Would there be any reason why one Wonderlabs B12 capsule would make Nina's poop softer & more voluminous? I am following the directions I was given to a "T", but she is pooping differently than she did the first time...that was after her last feeding on the trip. The food she eats is 3...

Re: change in colour of anus

My hound (not epi) has had issues with hers---it gets darker when something is stirring in there---but usually increasing the amount of pumpkin I give her as a preventive, can clear things up. For an EPI dog, I think you would just give 1 teaspoon of canned pumpkin. The fiber helps push things throu...

Re: NINA

SHE'S HERE! Nina is a sweetheart. She has met all our dogs, and the only one she has been grumpy with is our little Maltipoo, Ruthie. Everyone has a problem with Ruthie; you might say she's a "witch with a 'b'," who wants what she wants, but we do love her so. And now that the scolding of ...

Re: NINA

Andrea-- NINA by NOON! OK, if Rylee does have EPI I'll agree with most of what you've said, just not the part about bad luck. Catching it early on is beneficial; Tuck suffered for years with no help because he was just super slender & he ate weird things. My vet wasn't worried. So, what I'm sayi...

Re: NINA

Oh my gosh, Andrea! I know just what you mean. I reached out to Nina's family on a whim. Like I said, no way could this work out...New Jersey to Florida. When she said she'd bring her I was shocked. I am excited, but also anxious. Yeah, I'm doing this again, and I'm probably crazy. Having a few last...

Re: NINA

Nina eats Purina One True Instinct High protein Beef & Salmon. Her mom told me it is less than 4% fiber, so I went ahead and bought some. I'm going to stick with it for awhile, so I don't mess her up unnecessarily, but eventually it will make sense to tweak things. The additional price of the ex...

Re: NINA

I just found this out----

(Nina is stabilized since last summer)

Nina's mom mixes two cups of kibble with purified water and one TABLESPOON (so 3 teaspoons) of enzymes. And that's it. No B12, no SE or Tylan.

Have you ever? How can this be explained?
