This is such a wonderful success story. I am so glad you were able to meet Rilind and Jen. We are all inspired every time we look at a brochure showing his amazing transformation. Thank you for sharing this, Madelon.

Re: Newly diagnosed Pug
Hello, and welcome! Shadow is adorable. Yes, I am glad someone addressed the dosage of enzymes.....1 teaspoon per cup of kibble to start. Not all dogs get ulcers or redness, but ours sure did, even though he is a large German Shepherd. What we did was lengthen the incubation time, as someone mention...

Re: Is it really EPI
Hello, and welcome! And as everyone else has said, "Yes, it really is EPI." But you are off to a good start and things are improving already. Some dogs have a harder time finding balance, but Gus seems to have adjusted quite well. And I second Olesia's "Yikes!" on the B12. He def...

Re: Dog is pooping very little, related to epi?
Hello, and welcome! I, too, am questioning the amount of enzymes being given. Here in the states, we usually measure 1 teaspoon per cup of kibble and then adjust from there. Too little enzymes will yield not-so-good poops. If you keep a daily journal of everything you are giving and the amounts, you...

Re: Newly Diagnosed Corgi w/EPI - Suggestions?
We decided to do titres instead of automatically giving the shots. They draw Kolby's blood and determine if he still has the antibodies necessary for immunity from whatever vaccinations we are testing for. He has not had to have a shot in 8 years. We do have to give him the rabies shot every 3 years...

Re: Newly Diagnosed Corgi w/EPI - Suggestions?
I just want to say, "Welcome" to you and Opal. You already have excellent advice. The beginning is the hardest stage when you are trying to balance everything all at once while you are worrying about your pup. Your log/journal will be your best source of information as to what is going on ...

Re: Enzymes help for puppy
Hello and welcome to you and Dash. You have received excellent advice and hopefully, your pup will start to feel better soon. I heartily endorse the daily log/journal to record everything you give your pup each day and the resulting poos. It helps you to see what is and isn't working and when you ma...

Re: Periodic morning vomit (from Dana with Belle)
Hi Dana, I am sorry that poor Belle is having difficulties, and glad that Olesia could help. One other little thing I would suggest is that you record everything in your log/journal again if you are not already doing that. Most of us keep a log at the beginning of treatment when we are dealing with ...

Re: WONDERLABS ARE NOW OFFERING SLIPPERY ELM
Thanks, Jean. I love Wonderlabs. I just received our B12 with Intrinsic Factor at a 40% discount that they were offering after Madelon mentioned it. Great savings!
