I feed raw food.
I will never believed raw feeding causes this; but I might be considering switching to hydrolyzed food. Right now, there's very little nutrition being maintained. It might be the easiest for her to digest until this gets figured out

Re: Stool Regression
I did have a very similar issue myself. Pantenex was like no help at all. I had ordered 4 jars. I'm in Canada, and quality guarantee for Canadians really sucks.
I did try ordering in a single jar after. Different lot #. But never did get much "stability on it again!

Somewhat seasoned; but new dog
Some here might remember me. New dog, some similar symptoms I have a new little looney toon, Rylee. She is currently 6 months. Lab. Since age 3 months, she's had 3 GI bleeds. The first was days before what turned out to be a partial intestinal blockage. Weather stripping foam. They said, a...

Re: loss of enzyme effectivity by long incubation
I had been told by Joe from Pantenex that enzymes begin to degrade immediately once incubation begins. They recommend incubation of no more than 20 to 30 minutes, especially if new to enzymes. Having said that, I had dabbled with different options to try to make the incubation thing more feasible fo...

Re: Do I feed the amount of pantenex with each "meal"?
The dosage is tougher nowadays because of the amount of options of enzymes and their strength. 6x, 8x 10x, it's not a bad thing by any means. It just makes everything a little more confusing. I have seen 10x that was actually weaker than 6x. Well, it had more amalyse but less lipase. You do raise a...

Re: Enzymes to give away in the Ottawa area, Canada
So very sorry about your great loss. I understand that pain all to well. But at 9 yrs old, it's not really expected. It somehow seems harder.
It is very kind of you to pass on your enzymes; especially as things are harder to get here in Canada.

Re: Do I feed the amount of pantenex with each "meal"?
The Pantenex instructions on the jar are misleading. It gives instructions "per meal". But what they don't clarify well enough is that they define a "meal" as 2 cups of food. I If you call in to Pantenex, they are pretty good with helping you over the phone. (Their email support ...

Re: Canadian-based Company
Reliable pork based enzymes is something that is very lacking in the Canadian market. Decent enough strengths of enzymes are prescription only in Canada. This has me curious as to the type, strength AND quality of enzymes that would/could be available here without prescription. I would be curious of...

Re: Confused on prebiotic, probiotic for long term management
I am late to the party. But I learned, after great trial and error, that probiotic dosing (and indeed probiotic themselves) can differ from dog to dog. It took 5 different probiotic brands to find one that actually showed merit for my Lab. I'd bought one human one to try when first diagnosed. Next, ...

That will be a welcome site for so many!!
Still not feasible for Canadians and Canada customs stupidity, and import charges if it does clear Customs! But will definitely be a blessing to to many South of the border!
