Re: Encouragement
What a fabulous update!! Thanks for sharing so that newly diagnosed members can see EPI is manageable. Also, thank you for mentioning the Ashwagandha - my non-EPI girl is a basket case with thunderstorms and fireworks so I am going to look into this.

Re: RECOMMENDED VETS
Thanks Jean. Don't panic if you don't find your vet on this list or a vet near you on this list. The best vet to help manage EPI is the vet that you trust and is willing to learn with you and have a partnership with you in managing EPI.

Re: WELCOME TO ALL
Welcome to our EPI family Jeanne. The waiting can be frustrating for sure but I'm so glad you're having the test done so you'll know definitively whether it's EPI. Sounds like no matter what the diagnosis you've got plenty of experience managing chronic health issues so your pup is in the best hands...

Re: Food Question
Ahhhh - trying to find the right food can be the hardest part of EPI. It took me almost a year before I found the right one for Doc because right after he was diagnosed with EPI and I switched his food to meet the EPI protocol - he had food sensitivites - it was horrible!! I can't tell you how many ...

Re: Looking for a Vet versed in EPI
Hi Cheryl!! I'm glad Olesia and Judith have chimed in. Here is a link to a list of vets that members have recommended - I'm geographically challenged so I have no idea if any are near you or not https://epi4dogs.com/recommended-vets/

If it makes you feel better - my dog's food is caught in Iceland (anchovies) and processed in Italy and then I have to have it shipped from the Northern US because no one else carries it - the things we do for our pups LOL. I hope things go well. Please keep us posted

Re: Enzyme Diane 6x vs 8x
Hi and welcome to our EPI family. You mentioned 2.5 cups per feeding - how often are you feeding? I found with my boy the bag recommends about 4 1/2 cups for his weight, however I found that in order for him to maintain the proper weight he needs 5 cups per day (divided into two meals) in order to k...
