Re: After 4 years, can not get poop regulated again
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Barb said it all beautifully. I'm sure Bear is feeling stressed as he tries to figure out what has happened with his buddy. I too would make sure you are giving B12 either by injection or pills to address that. If things don't begin to improve I might make a vis...

Re: Vaccinations and Flea control for EPI dogs
It is a hot button topic, but I think like Madelon said ultimately it is a decision for you to make with your vet. I vaccinate Riley. I also feel that they are compromised already and I don't want any opportunistic infection to gain hold. But we haven't had any reactions to the shots, so I don't hav...

Re: Hannah's stool not looking so great
Hi and sorry you're having troubles now..... It could be the enzyme change, some pups are sensitive to any changes at all. You say you are giving 1 1/2 tsp of the 8x, that may be a little too much. The ratio for 6x is 1 tsp per cup of food, but the ratio for 8x is 3/4 tsp per cup of food. I would st...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!
Well you did what we suggest people do when a dog eats something they shouldn't. Give a small enzymed meal close to the incident....So good job! If it did upset things, hopefully it won't be a long lasting problem.

Re: Possible Relapse?
Sorry Cash is having troubles again. Some of the changes you are contemplating are good things to try, but I would caution you to only add/change one thing at a time. That way you can track to see if it is helpful or not. Keep careful notes to see what kind of response you have. We tend to blame eve...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!
Sometimes when the poops are hit or miss it indicates either food isn't optional for your girl or SID is in play. Don't change anything for now and see how things settle in with the new dose of B12
Still have no advice on the pictures.....

Re: Update on Ruby
Oh Marilyn I'm so sorry Ruby has had such a time. I know you are just the right person to stick with her and get her straight. It is interesting what Jean said about Cushings.....I hope your vet will check for that so she can be treated if so. I had a dog years ago that didn't do well with Advantage...
