Re: Allergies to enzymes
I’ve got Lyra on tylosin twice daily now. Started yesterday. This am her poop was consistently pudding style. I am continuing 2x10000 Creon capsules ten minutes before feeding. The vet advised waiting 4 days to see if her poop improves and if yes, slowly change her food completely off grain of any k...

Re: Allergies to enzymes
Omg that’s so reassuring! I stepped it up to three feedings a day. Two cups per and two 10000 capsules ten minutes before serving. I am using slippery elm so praying to god it works. I am looking into getting tylosin powder but we are doing bloods to make sure

Re: Allergies to enzymes
Hi, I feed 5 cups a day. Twice two and once one. She’s a small GSD with her ideal weight being around 57/60pds.
The Creon I use is called Cotazym. Feeding instructions is take complete capsule before eating. That’s about all it says.

Re: Allergies to enzymes
The nearest slaughter house is an hour and 30 minute drive but I am still working on this option. Yes she has daily b12 with intrinsic factor. I started with injections and now switched to tablets. Also she has slippery elm every meal and omegas once a day. Tylan is by prescription only so I will ge...

Re: Allergies to enzymes
Hello, yes I have been reading and reading Patsy’s link. I will start by increasing the time between giving the medication and feeding her. Today her poo was semi formed but still grainy looking puddle colour. Also, I have tried and tried to get raw pancreas! It’s either ridiculously overpriced , 17...

Re: Allergies to enzymes
My son can feed her but he is also coughing so am afraid it’s a genetic allergie. He’s only 14 so not taking any chances. I tried the chemical mask and gloves. Outside, and feeding outside. If she as much as licks me I wheeze. I am thinking if I get this Creon thing right we will be fine.

Re: Still dont know and scared.
There are blood test to confirm all this but yes it very well could be EPI or something related to her pancreas. Two weeks is a long time for a growing puppy. Sounds like blood works your next step.
