Re: Prebiotic
The enzymes we use are the Chemeyes powdered enzymes and she was feeling great until a few months ago when she had loss of appetite and was a bit lethargic. The vet ran some blood test (all normal) and echography (lots of gas in the stomach). She told us it was something bacterial and gave us anti a...

Re: Prebiotic
Hi! My Nora was diagnosed with EPI 1 year ago. We finally found the right balance with the enzymes... BUT.. I think that she now shows signs of SID/SIBO. We did a course with antibiotics and anti acids a month ago. Everything was fine until a few days ago when the symptoms reappeared. With anti acid...

Re: Peeing ALOT
I haven’t given her any B12 ever because our old vet said she didn’t need it without even testing her. That is our first B12 test. Do you know if we have to do the test before breakfast?

Re: Peeing ALOT
Thanks a lot! We are going to test her B12 on Thursday with the new vet. Today we got the results from the urine test and everything is fine - no UTI, no renal problems. I am so glad to finally hear some good news

Re: Peeing ALOT
I am going to another vet tomorrow. Hopefully he knows more about EPI and wants to do the test So I have a better understanding of her condition. We will do a test for UTI and I will insist of doing B12 as well

Re: Peeing ALOT
Nora has not been tested for B12 and afterwards I asked the vet for the test and she said that there was no point of doing it.

Re: Peeing ALOT
Nora is really very scared of going to the vet, many people said that their dogs had the same problem when they first started the enzymes so I was waiting to see if it will pass. Maybe I should give her more time to get used to the medication. I just don’t know if enough time has passed already

Re: Peeing ALOT
Hey, it’s me again :). It has been a month and Nora is still not getting better. She pees a lot, all over the house even, she wakes me up during the night wanting to go for a walk. I am wandering if a homemade meal will be better for her. Our vet knows absolutely nothing about EPI. I called her told...

Re: Peeing ALOT
I am sorry for all the questions but I am new to this and I don’t know who else to ask. Can I limit the water she drinks? Now she drinks about a 1.5 litres / she is a boxer around 20 kilos/ and wants to pee and pees 4-5 times a day and as I am working and I can’t be always home to walk her she pees ...
