welcome from the UK to you in Hong Kong we used Lypex for two years but it was too expensive to use long term and we changed to Panzym which is a powder and produced in Europe I note that you are supplementing B12, as they get older (and what a cutie) they need it no matter what they have wrong with...

this is so hard and I have looked at this and the responses over the weekend My Kara was very reactive with other dogs, and had to be exercised on a retractable lead, she could be with a couple of dogs, but very few I am not a fan of punishment, and here in UK you could find yourself in trouble with...

your vet I think is right about enzymes, it sounds like he has a sensitive tummy like most Sheps have, I have had 3 Sheps and they were all difficult to feed, but a joy to own
please keep us informed as it helps others who are struggling to hear a story

the only thing I can suggest, is to use Oxytetracycline, but it has to be on an empty stomach, 1 hour before food, or 2 after, I am looking into what we can get from Ireland

we supplemented b12 capsules daily right through Karas life, and she had a b12 injection once monthly, their b12 can drop over night, so I would never stop for any reason

I might have said this somewhere along the line but activated charcoal is one the vets recommend for gas
Amazon in the UK sell it so I imagine they will in the US
Does your dog eat a lot a grass? that can cause gas
