Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

And don't forget, once she gains her weight back, you can cut the food back to normal amounts, not 150%, so that will reduce the amount of enzymes you use.

Re: Please advise! Newly diagnosed EPI Found Bloody Stool!

Welcome to the forum, so sorry you had this scare! My girl hasn't had bloody stool, so I can't advise, but I just wanted to offer support and welcome you. If your vet doesn't know much about EPI, that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't going to be a good one to stick with. If they are willing to l...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

I give my girl a little every now and then on her meal. Typically if I don't have anything leftover from dinner I sprinkle grated cheese. If I don't put anything she looks at me and refuses to eat. Super picky and reluctant eater. Heavy sigh. If she ate his food so close to her meal she will probabl...

Re: Enzyme Donation

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart is with you as I know it is devastating to lose your pup so suddenly. They certainly are not here long enough. Yes, Diane is a good resource. She works with many rescues and helps them get EPI pups stabilized, and often times sends them enzymes to get them...

Re: Poop color is gray

Yep, those don't look just right. But I would hesitate to blame it on the B12. I looked it up in our "poop chart" and here is what it says about great or greasy looking poop: "A greasy-looking gray stool can be a sign of too much fat in your dog’s diet, which can trigger pancreatitis,...

Re: Containers?

Richard People all have their favorite way of storing enzymes. I put mine in a jar with a screw top lid and store in the dark in my cabinet. I have a dedicated measuring spoon that just lives in there and has no other job. I do not like to stick my hand in the bag either, I knew pretty early on that...
