Re: brown vomit
My Mary used to do this. Not the eating grass bit, because she's a house cat, but the brown vomit. Usually in the wee hours of the morning, right in front of the litter box. 1/4 Pepcid tablet sorted it out. Stomach acid.

Re: round of tylosin for maintenance
Montgomery is a "lifer" as far as tylosin is concerned. He's been on it about five years now with no difficulties. If you're concerned about long-term use, it seems to be safe. As far as your other question, I can't answer. Montgomery is a lot of things, but normal he is not.

Re: Only 2 wks left to submit pictures!!!
Why, why, WHY! Montgomery is cute as can be, snuggled with his stuffed calimallow on his pink fuzzy blanket, the perfect picture, yet the minute I turn the camera on he magically transforms into Max Headroom and all I have is a handful of blurry, awful shots....!? I have ONE decent picture. ONE. *si...

Re: before and after
If it were me, I'd give away or sell whatever I didn't need or want any longer, pack the essentials in a very small bag (enzymes, etc...), grab the furball and take an aeroplane. There are companies here in Canada that will ship THINGS cross-country, and that might be an option down there if there a...

Re: New on the forum: Advice for a cat?
Having gone the unconventional route with Montgomery, I can really attest to the fact that there is no one right way to do things. I'm glad you're open-minded and willing to give new ideas a chance. I just want to see your little moggy doing well, and I really hope the best for you guys!

Re: New on the forum: Advice for a cat?
If the floor is uncarpeted, it's going to be cooler and sometimes stretching out on a hard, cool surface is soothing if your stomach is very sore or upset (I actually used to do this when I was a kid!) Now that she's feeling better, perhaps she's beginning to act in a way that's actually natural to ...

Re: Looking for advice in ontario canada
I'm in Ontario, too. Montgomery gets Enzyme Diane, so I'm afraid I'm not much help to you, but I wanted to say hello!

Re: New on the forum: Advice for a cat?
Montgomery wasn't housebroken until he was ten, so I can't tell you if the B12 made him urinate outside the litter box or not because he really had no great concept of a litterbox until after he was off the B12. Is it possible she was in the litter box but her bum was over the side? My Falpie does t...
