The syrup is very thick.
I had tried giving Nikki just the powder, did nothing. We tried the SE tea, which seemed to help some but the syrup finally did the trick.

I mix 1 tsp of SE with 1 cup of cold water, bring to a boil and let it simmer 2-3 minutes.
Nikki won't take the SE by itself, so I mix it with her food.

We switched from Viokase to PanTenex a few years ago and I just stayed with 1 tsp per meal...no issues.
