Re: Struggling, help with GSD please

Hi from Yorkshire You’ve had some good advice . I’ve looked at comments on Pro-enzorb and they suggest that it can be used at one capsule to 100gm of food. So a lot needed for a GSD. So you could double your dose, no problems. It is like Lypex in that they are cautious with doseage instructions . Ma...

Re: Lypex dosing and smelly poop

Hello and welcome In the U.K. I found capsules suited my springer spaniel better than powder. She wouldn’t eat powdered enzymes. So I used Lypex, an excellent product except for the misleading instructions. We have had conversations with them about this, to no avail. I used 4 Lypex per day. , whethe...

Re: Newly diagnosed EPI

Welcome to you all. Where do you live? I own a tiny poodle cross too though non-epi. I appreciate how careful you have to be to give them the right amount of food. My epi dog ,a spaniel , took a while to stabilise but regained all weight and long life. You’ve done brilliant homework and got great ad...

Re: Birds get EPI too!

Absolutely!
That has certainly been the case with dogs before knowledge was published. Likewise with humans.
Epi is a condition caused by other well known dysfunctions, not a disease .
I will watch my pet chickens’ poop carefully now!

Re: New to the forum

Hi Marie from UK. Thanks to my daughter who lived in Zakynthos for a few years, our family has four Greek rescue dogs and a cat! Luckily all healthy. I talked to a vet over there about epi and he said they too use Zymoral. I just wanted to throw in a question . In the Uk we must not soak our enzyme ...

Re: Dog passing quite hard stool

Hello from Yorkshire I missed your long post in August thanks to grandchildren chaos. You are certainly in the early throes of epi. I think we all despaired and wept. Once the weight goes on , it will get better as the body regains normality from the inside, then the muscles. Your vet, surprisingly,...

Re: New rescue dog in UK with EPI

Hello from Yorkshire, so cross I’ve been asleep on the site for ages. My dog Marti from a long while ago, was a success story too. I can only add my delight at your care and success, what a beautiful cocker! I had a black cocker and am still active on Cockersonline. I regularly reply to cocker owner...

Re: Sad outcome

It’s a dilemma whether to tell them on these situations.
My lady obviously felt something hadn’t been done, but trusted the vet. She said they may talk to the vet practice when they get over losing him, for the sake of other dogs and cats.
