Re: Newly Diagnoised

Hi! I would use the full dose of SE and see how it goes. I mix mine in a separate bowl with a little water and then put it right on top of the food just before serving it. In the meantime like Pam said, I would look at her lips and muzzle to see if there is any irritation from the enzymes. If not, t...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis - Feeling Overwhelmed...

Hi Lisa! Yes you and Sadie are much loved - everyone here becomes like family - we all laugh, love and cry together. As for the poops - I noticed a few things with Doc over the years - if he's out chasing flies in the backyard he will often poop more than usual and it will sometimes be softer - the ...

Re: Early morning acid reflux mystery

Hi Arlene. Nina is beautiful! But sorry to hear she is struggling with her weight after so long. I dealt with the morning bile throw up for a while and fed an extra small enzymed meal before bed - after a while I no longer needed to do that, however, from time to time for no apparent reason he will ...

Re: New EPI Diagnosis

Hi Alice! My Doc throws up bile from time to time - for some EPI dogs it's just something that happens from time to time. I used to give a small enzyme meal before bed to help which it did for a while until I noticed even with the small enzyme meal before he bed he still threw up bile from time to t...

Re: New EPI dog

Hi! Yes that's a bit too much B12 - just back it down now. As for the food - you don't need prescription food unless there's another underlying condition. I think the food is definitely the culprit here. I would definitely go back to the taste of the wild - a lot of EPI dogs have done well on that f...
