Re: New here and needing feeding advice

Any luck getting him to eat? Will he eat plain protein without enzymes?

Re: When to test...please help advise

Why not use the enzymes till after Easter and see if they help. Do you have any B12 pills left?
There is always the Schebo test if you wanted a direction:

Welcome to the forum. Sorry you and your little guy have so much to deal with.

I would say when your pup is strong and herself she would be ok for surgery.

What grade murmur is it?

Re: Somewhat seasoned; but new dog

Sorry Andrea I should have said the two enzymes I mentioned are Plant enzymes not Porcine.

Re: NINA

How interesting. I guess some dogs need more enzyme but wonder if the normal ratio of 1:1 would work.
Did you already say what food she is eating?

Re: Stool Regression

Is there a reason for 1 Tablespoon of enzyme instead of 1 teaspoon?
Just curious. Thanks

Re: Somewhat seasoned; but new dog

I was going to suggest raw. You could get Prozyme or Total Zymes and see if this added to raw will help. You can incubate them like porcine.

Re: What happens when the dog won't eat kibble?

Will he eat food without enzymes? If he won't eat the kibble (Purina)he might be saying there is something wrong with it. Could you replace the rice with some baked sweet potato? So if you feed half cup of moisture containing food(homemade or canned) it would be 3/4 teaspoon enzyme per 1 cup wet foo...
