Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

All is well!!! She's down to 2 meals a day now and doing fine. She's doing better than her brother!!! She finishes her meals in the morning and the evening. Her brother many days doesn't touch his breakfast until 2 in the afternoon, so I have to put it away so Sassy can't get at his food and then tr...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Hi All, Sorry I haven't updated in about 2 weeks, I've been busy. All is well, poops are back to about a 2-3 and have been holding there for almost 2 weeks. I do have one question though: Do EPI dogs continue to have larger poops in size and quantity than non-EPI dogs? She does eat more than her bro...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Oh yeah Jean, we gave her a deworming treatment before anything else while I was away in NJ. I had read that it might be causing her cow pies so I thought it was worth a try. Then the vet put her on an antibiotic for 7 days prior to being tested for EPI. I still might need to have her treated for SI...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Thanks All, I'm going to say Sassy lost about 6 lbs over about a month. That would have been about 10% of her normal weight then of 61 lbs. So it wasn't as bad as many I have read about here. Maybe because she was free fed? I noticed her being skinny more the last 2 weeks, but then again I was in NJ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Elisabeth, I read where it's supposed to keep for up to 2 years. So I thought a 6 month supply of 3 or 4 Kilos would give me peace of mind. Thanks for your input.

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Hi Elisabeth, Yeah, I'm looking forward to when I can cut her back to 4 cups a day! Thought she was cutting herself back over the past couple days and then she ate everything today. Her brother who weighs more than her is eating less than 4 cups a day, but he's been having a harder time adjusting to...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Have you ever run into a time where you couldn't get enzyme from Diane? I just finished my first bag of 500G. I had another one ready and just received my first Kilo, because it wasn't available before now. I'm thinking I'd like to stock up on about a 6 month supply at least, so about 3 or 4 Kilos. ...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

It is a touch and go process. I've already learned not to get to high when things appear to work or too low when they don't. And then you have like now, when it seems like we're in the middle. Half her poops are good and the other half not as good; I'm talking about at the same time, the same poop s...

Re: Sassy says HI and Thank You!!!

Had to smile when I read your post Elisabeth. You may not remember, but I was the one that ordered the enzyme, B12, slippery elm, salmon oil and.....the coconut oil before I even had the official diagnosis. The day I got the diagnosis I received the enzymes from Diane and started her on it that day....

Re: Enzyme Donation

So sorry for your loss, I know how it breaks your heart since mine has been broken that way more times than I'd like to remember. I was on EnzymeDiane site and copied the following info for you and your donation request. I hope it helps. If you have extra enzymes for whatever reason there are many p...
