I agree with Diane... If you have seen improvement I would continue with the enzymes for awhile longer...if things remain firm try cutting back on the amount (start by cutting 1/8 tsp per cup of food) of enzyme and monitor and continue. Our 2 EPI pups have not had problems using freeze dried liver treats...but when I think about it a lot of their treats are near their meals. I agree using small amounts of treats is a good idea.
