Re: Cooper - New to EPI

https://www.rawfeedingplus.co.uk/?v=79cba1185463 This shop is in Morecambe, a wide selection . Epi owners will be interested in knowing they sell pigs pancreas in the heading for Offal. They dot deliver. I tried raw feeding for a very fussy small dog. She ate better than us! For a large breed you’d ...

Re: smell

Re Lypex,, how much does she weigh? My large springer weighed 24kg at proper weight. She had 2 Lypex in each of her two daily meals. A sprocker will be lighter, so check the instructions. I used Chappie at first when she needed to disguise powdered enzymes, but within months her guts reacted to the ...

Re: Best food for EPI (in the uk)

https://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/ This website has everything on it. Hello from Yorkshire, this website, in its infancy, helped save my dogs life. I mostly used Millie’s Wolfheart, Many recipe blends available. I also used Eden., and Fish4dogs. A lot of our dogs can’t tolerate chicken or any grains...

Re: Thorin advice needed

Hello, are you able to get Creon (for humans)? If you can, check back here for how much to use. Otherwise, can you buy dog enzymes from abroad? They certainly have them, and as they are non- prescription should get through customs. In the UK, try Chemeyes.co.uk, though Brexit may slow delivery down....

Re: Tylan update

That’s good to know. Presumably you have a prescription from your own vet.

Re: Panzym - stopped working

What anti allergy injections is she having?

Re: Panzym - stopped working

Another thought, I was puzzled by Betty being tubby, then realised Marti was the same. Wasted muscles , but solid , lethargic and had epi poo. Hungry and thirsty. This was a long time ago, when epi knowledge was even worse. I am mentioning this because you should be aware of the concurrent condition...

Re: Panzym - stopped working

https://www.vetuk.co.uk/dog-supplements-cat-supplements-pancreatic-supplements-c-5_9/panzym-concentrated-pancreatic-enzyme-powder-p-501 Your vet is wrong. I’m glad you’re not changing your panzym dose. Marti weighed 24 kegs. I tsp per meal three times a day. Betty is 11kgs so should be a tiny bit mo...

Re: Sudden increase in grass eating

Do you mean enema, not edema? In which case, I’ve never read of an epi dog needing one, usually quite the opposite! Mine only eat grass to throw up. There must be discomfort, so maybe a vet can tell you whether you need an antacid or antibiotic? If you’ve never had a problem with the enzyme dose, I ...

Re: Panzym - stopped working

Not crazy. My cocker and I could communicate by telepathy from far away. Weird but true . He was weird anyway. Never soak panzym or any uk/EU enzymes on the food. It starts digesting immediately and turns food to smelly sick. I’m impressed she eats it. You can help future mouth problems by cleaning ...
