Re: Poop consistency

Oh - if the bobbing for kibble isn't working have you tried feeding on a flat plate and using a wash cloth to wash the muzzle area?

EPI can be frustrating but I promise you will get there!

Re: Poop consistency

The only other thing I would suggest is to feed smaller meals - is there any way you can do 2cups of food with 2tsp enzymes per meal? Not sure how many times you are feeding but my boy used to get 6 cups...

Re: Poop consistency

Yes it's completely normal - we call it the poop roller coaster. Can you post a picture - it would help a lot to see exactly what you're seeing. Also, if you could add a signature to your profile (with your test scores, current food and amount, enzymes and how prepared and any supplements or antibio...

Another member mentioned there is a test for taurine levels - don't know anything about it but definitely something to ask the vet about.

Re: Puppy doesn't have EPI

Hi Jeanne - glad to hear it's not EPI, but if you don't mind me asking - what was the TLI? The reason I ask is that my boy was tested at 3mos old due to symptoms but it was 16 - completely normal. He was fine for several months but then began showing symptoms of slight weight loss at 10mos old - he ...

Hi and welcome to our EPI family! Glad you are having the test done to confirm. Olesia has given you the best advice as she is the expert on all things EPI. The best advice I can add is to read as much as you can on the website while you are waiting for the diagnosis so that you are fully prepared w...
