Olesia & Patsy, that's great to know and some very helpful information!
Yes Rosie started on the full 1g sachet of fortiflora 6 weeks ago. It doesn't seem to cause any issues with her at present.
We are quite lucky with the vet we have she has a great understanding of alternative treatments for dogs, she explained that the raw pancreas will do the exact same job as the enzyme powder once given at the correct temperature and quantity. I have noticed it increasingly tougher to get my hands on the raw version due to restrictions on the general public being allowed to handle certain offal! So it is only a matter of time before I introduce the powder form to Rosie. Great to know Patsy that the enzyme powder within the EU doesnt have to be soaked prior!
In the last 2 weeks I have noticed great improvements in Rosie, her poo is completely normal 95% of the time now (there is the odd occasion of some soft stool but no diarrhea).
She had previously lost 5kg within 4 weeks and over the past 2 weeks she has gained 1kg which im pleased about.
The Burns food I am using is the original chicken and brown rice at 2.2% crude fibre, Rosie had previously been taking the grain free option a couple of months ago but didn't seem to like it no matter how it was disguised.
We've started to find the right balance with the amount of raw pancreas that seems to keep everything in check. She is gettting 30g raw pancreas per 100g food. Fingers crossed that she continues to stay as good as she has been lately. I'll also check out that Butchers grain free tripe mix!
I definitely wouldn't have seen the improvements shes made lately if it weren't for everyones help here! It's really appreciated

What a fantastic update! Doing the happy poop dance for you You're obviously doing an amazing job managing Rosie's EPI - keep up the good work and keep us posted.

DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.

WOW!!! what a great report. So glad to hear that Rosie is doing so well! Sounds like you found the right balance of things so i wouldn't change anything anymore at this point -- we have a saying here "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
However, do keep us posted .... Rosie is part of our EPI family and we like to keep tabs on our "family"

Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

That is one super update! I don't have experience with raw, but you are in excellent hands with those who do. So glad Rosie is doing so well. You are doing a phenomenal job.
