Quick update

Post by MnMIkko » 11 Apr 2021, 07:55

One of our Corgi’s was diagnosed with EPI last winter in Feb, 2020. He’d lost body weight from 23lbs to 18lbs. After discovering the pancreatic deficiency I found this site. It’s been 14 months since we started supplementing enzymes (Enzyme Diane) and, after a few months, his health and energy level was fully restored. Mikko is 31 lbs now and leads the pack on walks and mischief around the house. I use the vitamin supplement as well.

This site and forum is a great service to dogs owners who have pets suffering with EPI.

YEA!!!!!!!! And, I AGREE 100%!

Additionally--- If not for this group, and their guidance about making EPI treatment more affordable, I would now have a huge credit card balance. I share this site with every vet I meet.
Tucker was a shepherd/lab mix--- TLI 1.3, Folate 9.7, Cobalamin 666, Lipase 38. Took Diane's Enzymes 4 teaspoons/day, Wonderlabs B12 one capsule per day, and Tylan 1/16 teaspoon/ morning (to hold SID at bay). Taste of the Wild High Prairie, 1 1/2 cups/day, with a total of 4 cups of Fresh Pet. Stopped eating everything in sight, and went from 60 to 85 pounds! Tucker was my boyfriend, and my husband was OK with that. Tucker succumbed to hemangiosarcoma, but we cherished every day we had with that wonderful, beautiful boy. I will always, always miss my sweet big boy.

What a great update and thank you for the kind words. I hate to think of where we would all be or what would have happened to our fur babies if it weren't for Olesia starting this foundation/website/forum and Diane's affordable enzymes.

Thank you for sharing your story with us - it's always great to hear of EPI dogs thriving, living their best happiest lives.
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.
