Glad Piper is doing okay. I get nervous every time I have to have hubby feed Doc. I pre-measure and label everything so there is no room for error LOL - despite my efforts he has forgotten to give the B12 pill and or Zyrtec.
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.

Thank you.

I would have replies sooner but I had some major back surgery in early September. With that said, My husband has really been doing and exceptional job of feeding and giving Piper her medications, He learned his lesson.

Now that I am able to do a little more I am trying to take over the medication dispensing and food prep. Before going into the hospital I had lists hanging in the kitchen with precise instructions in case needed. I placed all the medications in one spot with notes on the lids (ie, the enzymes had 1 tsp written on top etc). I purchased a three times a day pill caddy and filled three weeks worth as not to mess up as well. I will tell you I was so nervous while in the hospital on how they were doing but once home I saw Piper was well cared for which was a relief for me.
