Re Lypex,, how much does she weigh? My large springer weighed 24kg at proper weight. She had 2 Lypex in each of her two daily meals. A sprocker will be lighter, so check the instructions. I used Chappie at first when she needed to disguise powdered enzymes, but within months her guts reacted to the rice and chicken. So I used grain free kibble and Chemeyes enzyme capsules which are cheaper than Lypex.
Smell, She stank. Her breath, her mouth , because spaniels have lip folds where food and enzymes stick , and floppy cheeks. Her ears were prone to yeast infections. Her bottom had anal gland issues too. I cleaned out her mouth with water after eating, treated ears, had glands emptied. Bathed her for smelly sweat, but she still had a signature musty, enzyme aroma.
I had a cocker at the same time, and he would sniff her over every day and point to abnormal areas before it was apparent to me.
Springer spaniel Marti had Epi, PLE , MMM just to confuse me. She lived till 12yrs, chubby and happy despite eight years of epi.
Capsule enzymes suited her best. B12 supplements made her into a new dog!
After a cocker with PLN kidney disease, I now have two healthy rescues, a lively, suicidal , small ginger terrier, adopted with pneumonia, and gum disease needing nearly all his teeth out, and a fluffy grey toy poodle/terrier from Greece.

I have been thinking about this, and what I have noticed about Tucker is, his smell gets worse when his gas gets going, which always tells me SID is revving up. When this happens, I increase his Tylan to the therapeutic dose, and once completed he seems less stinky.

Most of his stink comes from his mouth, but when I stick my nose in his fur, I can smell it there, too, only it's not as strong. I have five pups, and my hound Sashi is just a smelly thing, so when people come over I light candles ahead of time. --- Pam
Tucker was a shepherd/lab mix--- TLI 1.3, Folate 9.7, Cobalamin 666, Lipase 38. Took Diane's Enzymes 4 teaspoons/day, Wonderlabs B12 one capsule per day, and Tylan 1/16 teaspoon/ morning (to hold SID at bay). Taste of the Wild High Prairie, 1 1/2 cups/day, with a total of 4 cups of Fresh Pet. Stopped eating everything in sight, and went from 60 to 85 pounds! Tucker was my boyfriend, and my husband was OK with that. Tucker succumbed to hemangiosarcoma, but we cherished every day we had with that wonderful, beautiful boy. I will always, always miss my sweet big boy.
