? relapse

Hello all my dog Meg has had EPI for approximately 18 months. After the initial issues things had settled down and she was doing really well sticking to the same food and enzyme capsules.
However over the past week she has been needed to go out during the night at least twice and to poo and they have been sloppy. She still has an appetite and is wanting to go out for walks.
Does this happen a lot and any advice on how to get her on track would be appreciated. We will take her to the vets but found the vet to not be that knowledgeable on EPI the first time around.
many thanks
Mel

Mel, how old is Meg? Sometimes as they age the enzyme amount needs to increase a little I see you are using Lypex. Our UK members might help with that increase if need be.
Is Maddie still getting daily B12 supplement?
Is there tummy rumblings and gas? Wondering if SID/SIBO is at work here.
Also please share any information from this website with your vet. The more we can help educate the better!

Good evening from Liverpool

I see we have talked before on the forum and you use Lypex,

can you tell me what level of Lypex you give, and to what amount of food, and how often

Has ANYTHING else changed ? maybe the food formula

I will happily talk to you by phone if that helps

do you use any antibiotics for bacterial overgrowth bugs and do you give any b12 supplement

I thank you both for your replies.

Meg is 4, she has been doing so well just on Chappie twice a day with onelypex capsule each time and a bit of keffir.

her weight was back up to pre illness and she was energetic and happy.

she has just been struggling a lot the past week. we have a vets appointment tomorrow and although they try, their knowledge is limited on EPI

thanks again
