Oh i forgot to include in my post last nite..... after you see how much your pup should approximately receive in calories via any dog food package with the feeding guideline in back..... go to Fat Secret website:

https://www.fatsecret.com/

you DO NOT have to join..... just the name of the foods you are looking to use in your home-made diet.... into the upper left hand corner where it says "Food"
Image

... and this will break down the nutritional value of the food(s) you are using.... use this to build your diet. It is basically is balanced when you go by the ratios of 50%/+ meat, etc.......... jsut remember dogs NEED bone and minerals and vitamins... hence why you include egg shells, or bones or bone meal and a quality doggie vitamin.

Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

I do all homemade meals for Tyson. I use the Balanceit.com website for recipes and the Canine Balance It supplement. Currently I am feeding white fish, white and sweet potato, and a vegetable-green beans, cauliflower.
