Using B12 end enzymes

Dear friends

It is all started 8 months ago with a bloody dieria. I was in vet office several times. Finally I have been told she has pancreatitis and there is no solution. Refused to give up I took the matter into my hand . She was 7 pounds and now all skin and bone little over 4 pounds.
I start using enzyme (Pantenex)last 3 weeks. No wight gain observed . I have to warm up the meal otherwise she is not interested ( using hills digestive care ID low fat) if I wait 10 minutes ( incubation) she won’t eat. Not even get close to it. Little bit warming and mixing makes the trick and she eats the whole thing. I use 1/4 tsp enzymes.

Now I got the wonder lab B12 vitamin. This is My last hope. My question is ; can I mix the B12 with her food after warm up. Dosage is apperantly 1 capsule for the dogs wight less than 50 pounds. Since my girl only weights 4 pounds is this is right dosage or should I gave the half

Many thanks

Asim

welcome from us in UK

Can I ask what test was taken to have the diagnosis of pancreatitis

bit cavalier of the vet to just say no solution

as far as B12 is concerned, you can put it into her food, and any she does not need she will pee out

let us know

Jean

Hi Asim, with pancreatitis enzymes are constantly being released by the pancreas. You can try putting the Panzym powder in capsules right before you feed. This worked great with Mickey. Was your dog given a Pli or SnapPli in office for diagnosis? Did the vet say it was acute? Just as a side, pancreatitis in some cases will resolve itself(maybe that is what your vet meant by no solution) but if it turns into chronic pancreatitis you can manage it. Email me if you want help off forum☺

PS the I/D is a good food for the pancreatitis.

Hi Asim,

Regarding your question about the Wonderlabs B12. If you little dog is only 4 lbs..... pleas open the B12 capsule, pour the B12 powder onto a piece of paper..... form a little rectangle shape with the loose B12 powder...... divide in 4 sections and just give 1 section a day to your little dog.

And yes.... you can mix this B12 powder right in the food.... that is what i do... i just toss it in just before i serve the food.... no need to incubate the B12, but if you do, that is okay too.

Hope this helps and please keep us posted!
