Hi Pam,
Well, low B12 can cause aggression and/or fearfulness in animals. Can you tell me which Blue Buffalo Tucker eats?
I haven't heard of conditioning to poop a lot.
Something needs a little tweaking!
Thanks

Jill

Hey there! So in my opinion you have a couple of things you could try:

1 - do nothing - if the poops are firm, weight is good as long as you don't mind picking up extra poop then I wouldn't change anything. Some dogs just poop more but as long as it's perfect poop I wouldn't worry

2 - it could be too much fiber in the food - you could try switching to a food with a little less fiber and see if that helps. You'd be surprised how much even 1/2% reduction in fiber can make a change but not always.

Keep us posted.

Tucker eats Blue Buffalo Life Protection Adult chicken & brown rice, and it does have 4% fiber. I will go to the local Earth Pets store & find something a little lower in fiber. I know, how weird to think he automatically poops, on command. It's worth a try, to see what happens. Thanks, guys!---Pam

And yes, after all the B12 he's taken, it is refreshing to see him not be so touchy all the time. I try to tell people who criticize him, Hey, he was starving to death before, so cut him some slack. He's a stinker---he still jumps out & scares the others, for fun, but there have been no attacks in quite awhile.
