i like the Nature diet, lamb variety. a lot of dogs dont tollerate chicken, some EPI dogs realy struggle

this is a tale

I had a friend with a Newfoundland dog he had spent thousands on him, his hair was falling out, the vets had him on prescription foods, I met him and he was having Bear PTS I pleaded with him to try grain free, no chicken, I get a phone call, Bear is recovering hair is coming back

I was so pleased

Just try maybe a small bag, and see how he goes

the blood issue could quite easily be a gut imbalance, Small Intestinla Bacterial Overgrowth, is there any tummy rumbles ?

Patsy gave brilliant advice, as for the Lypex, give it a whirl

we used 3 per meal with Kara

let us know

Nature diet has a good reputation. My Marti did well with fishy flavours.

Forthglade smuggle peas in, which Epi dogs aren’t good with. Also bear in mind that if you are avoiding chicken, the turkey might be too similar.
I guess you might be needing 3 wet packs a day.
I hope this works, but I still think that antibiotics will be needed for the tummy rumbles. Slippery elm for bleeding. After you finish antibiotics, it helps to use probiotics because both good bacteria and bad get knocked of by them.
Live yogurt is a good substitute, and I’ve heard something about kefir drink being similar.
Springer spaniel Marti had Epi, PLE , MMM just to confuse me. She lived till 12yrs, chubby and happy despite eight years of epi.
Capsule enzymes suited her best. B12 supplements made her into a new dog!
After a cocker with PLN kidney disease, I now have two healthy rescues, a lively, suicidal , small ginger terrier, adopted with pneumonia, and gum disease needing nearly all his teeth out, and a fluffy grey toy poodle/terrier from Greece.
