WONDERFUL update!! Good on you for figuring out the chicken sensitivity. I swear allergies/food sensitivities can be way worse than EPI.

Thanks for all the nice comments. This site was the source of the majority of our research and pretty much all
you need to treat your pet once you know your are dealing with EPI.

Just placed my 2nd enzyme order through ED. I opted for the 8x this time. It should stretch a little farther. I’m going to try 1/2 teaspoon of the new which is equivalent to about 3/4 of the 6x. I’ve been giving him 1 tsp w a cup of food so we’ll try a little less and see how it goes.

I’m about 2 weeks into the food switch now w Mikko. The fine hairs around his eyes are returning gradually. Vet said it’s about an 8 week process to clear up skin conditions. Overall he’s returned to his pre-EPI self.

SO nice to hear that Epi4Dogs was helpful to you getting Mikko's EPI in good control. I am forever blown away how some of these dogs can look and actually be near death when first diagnosed.... and once the right balance of the EPI protocol is implemented they bounce back to what they were pre-EPI. The transformation sometimes is simply mind-blowing!

The 8x at a reduced amount should work out fine too. Keep us posted and VERY glad to hear that the hair around his eyes is starting to fill in and he is getting back to normal. All good news!
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

85% eye-hair recovery. Another few weeks he’ll be good as new.

Most importantly after all this is that Mikko doesn’t look or act sick anymore. He had lost so much weight. He became very clingy. Even though he’ll never be “cured” of EPI, the enzyme supplement with his meals works wonders and will allow this little guy a normal life. His disposition is very normal now. I suspect he’ll always be borderline with a few things but being able to digest and metabolize his food is a real game changer for him.

That is a nice report. There will be hiccups along the way but we will be here to help you get back on track.

Glad things are still going in the right direction and that the hair is coming back. My boy suffers from food and environmental allergies and with it being Spring time he's got lots of hair loss patches on his legs right now :(
