Most cost effective place to buy pancreatin to treat Epi in GSD?

Hello! I'm new to this forum as my dog has just been diagnosed with EPI with a Tli test that came back positive. I live in Canada and my vet is charging my $90CAD for a 110g bottle of powder pancreatin from Pank-aid; I feel like this is a bit expensive. Where should I go to get cheaper pancreatin?

Contact EnzymeDiane (she does ship to Canada) here are her products (you will want the Pancreatin 6x)

You get about 3 times the amount of enzymes(1 kilo = 35.274 ounces) for approximately as much as the brand names sell it for 12 or 16 ounces
https://enzymediane.com/product-category/pancreatin-6x/

of course you can also buy it in smaller batches if you want...........

Hi Bob
I am also in Canada, Courtenay BC, we were going broke over Chula's vet-supplied, Pank-Aid, so although it's a Canadian product we went with Bio-Case from the US. I researched where they source it and am quite pleased with their customer service. Expecting our first shipment any day. I did hear that EnzymeDiane was a also a good supplier. Best of luck with your pooch.

Hi Bob - welcome to our group! I would definitely check out EnzymeDiane as suggested - if it weren't for her cost saving enzymes my boy would not be with us.

Hi Bob,

I also heartily endorse enzyme Diane. We used her enzymes successfully for over 10 years with our beloved Kolby, who passed in January of an aggressive form of cancer.

Add me to the list of highly recommending EnzymeDiane.... my dog was on her enzymes for 13+ years... and she did great and i was very pleased!!! Even my vets started recommending EnzymeDiane to others too.
Best price around and customer service is beyond anyone else's service IMHO :)

welcome from the UK

Although I never used Enzyme Diane, I know she has a faithful following across the pond and is very approachable, so add me to the list

I'm in Ontario. Montgomery was on the Pank-Aid from the veterinarian, and thankfully I always keep a bit of a stock of enzymes because all of a sudden it was unavailable. I was really, REALLY nervous to switch him because he is super sensitive to change, but I am so glad I did. We went with Enzyme Diane. She was incredibly helpful answering questions and addressing concerns. She helped me find the right enzyme for Montgomery. I wish I had done this sooner. The Pank-Aid stank and made him stink. His bad breath is gone. His stool smells like normal cat stool. He is happier in himself, with fewer bouts of gas and more energy (he beat up his brother and took his catnip pollock, for instance). The cost is a lot lower, too, which surprised me. The only issue I have with it is the Useless Parcel Service, otherwise known as UPS, but don't get me started on that one or I won't stop!

That is a really good endorsement of Enzyme Diane, I am so pleased that Montgomery is doing so well, I know you have struggled at times and it's a joy to read
