Epi4Dogs Announcement – May 31, 2020

2021 EPI CALENDARS

If you are interested in your EPI companion being a participant in the 2021 EPI Calendar(s)….. start taking pictures. With so many of us quarantined with the COVID-19 virus we are spending lots of time with our 4 legged companions. Please feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and submit to us for the 2021 EPI Calendars.

1. Picture submission begins June 1, 2020 and ends August 31, 2020
2. Pictures need to be submitted to: Epipics0059@gmail.com

In October, Calendars will be available to order directly from the CreatePhotoCalendar website. As in the past, you can first view the calendars from links the on the Epi4Dogs website” EPI Products” page.

PHOTO’S
Photos that are funny shots, beautiful poses, action takes, photos with friends and family, or even just playing with other canine/feline buddies.. all photo’s/multiple photos are welcome.

Photos need to be good resolution (minimum 300kb)… most modern digital cameras and cell phones are all set to take high enough resolution pictures. Pictures from FaceBook are not high enough resolution so please do not submit photos directly from FaceBook.

Memorial Photos. And as always, we will honor those EPI companions that we had to sadly say good bye to. Each pet that has passed will have one month dedicated to them in one of the EPI calendars as their Memorial page.

When submitting your photos, please:

1. include your first & last name and your pet’s first name
2. for memorial pictures, please also include beginning and ending dates
3. email you photo’s as attachments

CALENDARS

Due to a big 2019 price increase with the calendar production, we have increased the cost for last year. The calendar price remains the same this year and is as follows:

Calendar donation outside USA (handling but not shipping included) will be $28 per calendar.

All net donations from these calendars will go in their entirety to our 501c3 public charity organization, The Epi4Dogs Foundation, Inc.

Epi4Dogs Foundation Inc.’s mission is the advancement of science and education relating to EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), yielding useful insights and positive outcomes in better managing EPI in dogs and cats. Our goals are to support and/or collaborate with veterinary EPI research and researchers, and to promote EPI awareness by educating the general public, pet owners, pet organizations, rescue and shelter organizations, veterinary schools and veterinarians.

A full accounting of calendar production & processing costs and donations will be posted on the Epi4Dogs website. In the past, we have allocated calendar donations completely to EPI Research and EPI Awareness and we will continue to distribute all donations in the same manner.

Zero dollars go to administration fees as Epi4Dogs is a 100% volunteer organization.

Finally sent mine in today !! Can't wait to see all of them. I always give one to my vet for Christmas !!!
Kodi
B. 8/19/2010 Diagnosed at 11 months.
Kodi is now on Natures Logic turkey and/or pork kibble, 2 cups with 2 teaspoons of enzymes, 1/8 teaspoon of ground coriander, 1/16 teaspoon of cinnamon and ground fennel seed (for tummy upsets) twice a day, plus one one B12 capsule from Wonderlabs. She has been very stable and on occasion needs a dose ofTylan.
She is our second GSD with EPI. It was not so scary this time ! And thank goodness for epi4dogs.com ! 💝 Kodi passed on August 25, 2023 just after her 13th birthday.💝 Forever grateful to Olesia and epi4dogs. She live a long and adventurous life with EPI.

-I mailed Montgomery's photographs in, mid-July. Did they arrive? If not, I am writing this on an almost brand-new, functioning machine and I can send them via e-mail as of to-day! Please let me know!?
Montgomery was born 20 March 2012. He eats extra lean ground chicken, lean ground pork and lean ground beef completed with Alnutrin and freeze-dried chicken liver, with hard-cooked egg. He gets two size zero capsules of Enzyme Diane's enzymes at each of his six meals, and a size four capsule of Tylan three times a day. He's a fierce little Spitfire with a roaring Merlin engine.

BUT.. great to know that next year, we will get pictures by email from you instead of snail mail.

Thanks Olesia! The mail has been so slow, I wasn't sure they'd get there in time. Maybe by next summer I'll have figured this little computer out. So much has changed...!?
