Tylosin In Canada

Post by Montgomery » 10 Jul 2020, 18:55

Hey, I just wanted to give a heads-up...! Montgomery's clinic informed me early last week that they were unable to get Tylosin powder any longer. It took them a few days but they were able to find an alternate source and I can pick up his new Tylosin on Monday. So...There are other options out there if your veterinarian gives you the same news. I just about had a heart attack.
Have a great weekend!
Montgomery was born 20 March 2012. He eats extra lean ground chicken, lean ground pork and lean ground beef completed with Alnutrin and freeze-dried chicken liver, with hard-cooked egg. He gets two size zero capsules of Enzyme Diane's enzymes at each of his six meals, and a size four capsule of Tylan three times a day. He's a fierce little Spitfire with a roaring Merlin engine.

Olesia provided the information on ordering tylan below on another post a couple weeks ago. The VetOne product apparently is available for your vet to order directly from them, with shipping available to the following: American Samoa, Canada, Guam, Philippines, Puerto Rico, United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. If your vet has a different source, we'd love to know what it is!

Please let your vet know she can get TYLAN (made by Elanco) https://www.chewy.com/tylan-soluble-powder/dp/173768
or
TYLOSIN TARTRATE (made by Vet One) https://www.medi-vet.com/VetOne-Tylosin ... /19172.htm

I'm not sure what she got me; I'll find out when I collect it to-morrow. I'll let you know. The clinic does know about this website and I suggested they check the section on SID. I'll see soon enough!
