Hi ....Ruby doesn't want to eat last night or this morning......only ice cubes. I am really very concerned ...yet she is up and lively alert. She goes out and does her business. I gave her all that I mentioned before but she is like nope. And she goes to the water bowl looks at it bends down and walks away. THis is a clean water bowl not some old nasty thing. Yet her eyes are doing better with the Refresh in it 3 times a day. I don't know she is real skinny. I just pray for her and see what happens by Monday to take a picture of her and send it to the vet. I have this test Jill sent me so I will give that a try. In the meantime I am taking care of my husband who is on oxygen and just came home from the hospital. WOW so I am not trying to ignore Ruby at all. Any thoughts let me know. Thanks

How long has it been since Ruby had blood labs done?

You have a lot on your plate I hope your husband settles in.

Are you still supplementing B12 when she eats?

She only took the one enzyme tonight. I can't get much of anything down her ... I can't make her take anything unless she wants' to . She won't even let you open her mouth and put it in ....I know this is very difficult. I have to get her to the vet and I can't carry her into my van take her out and put her back in and take her out to go in the house just can't happen. I have to try and do some kind of vitrual thing the camera and e-mail to the vet. I feel like I am going crazy but hey what else is there to do. Trust God to take care of this situation and help me help her. Right now she is sleeping next to my husbands side of the bed. Thanks for your concern.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with so much. I'm glad your husband is home and hope he heals quickly. Have you checked the phone book/facebook/internet for a mobile vet? I've never used one but there are a few in my area and that might be a good solution since you aren't able to get her into the vet. I would definitely get her blood work done to make sure her levels are normal especially kidneys. Sending hugs and prayers.

tried to call 3 mobile vets all not working today Sunday. One number I called gave me a number a hour away that can't even help. My dog is up but moving very slowing and hard for her but wants to move around like to say I want to be with you and my husband. Won't drink , won't take an ice cube and her gums are very dry and no pink anymore. I guess unless God intervenes she will be going to Rainbow Bridge I see it as heaven and being a happy healthy dog in God's kingdom. Until that time I will be with her and love her with all my heart for she is a survivor of EPI for 10 1/2 years. thanks to Olesia and all the others that have helped along the way...... please pray for me and for my Rubydoobee lllllooolll

Hi Marilyn, I would continue to try to get liquid in her even by syringing. Maybe get some pedialite? Praying for you all..
