Help! Enzymes delivery delay

Post by REGIFLOR » 09 Feb 2023, 19:18

Hi everyone,
I have been anxiously awaiting my Enzymes Diane order, which was delayed due to weather and now I received a message from UPS, indicating "Reciever refused delivery"....eventhough I was waiting by the door for the delivery... I am nervous that the quality of the product will be impacted by the Canadian cold : (
Has anyone had this experience?
Thanks for any advice and if anyone near Ottawa/Montreal has extra enzymes to share or sell I would be willing to drive to pick them up!!!
Thank you kindly,
Regina and my dog Hannah, who luckily is currently stablilized

HI Regina,

I am so sorry to hear this ... unfortunately we hear (too often) horror stories of Canadian customs delaying the delivery of the enzymes....but UPS out-right lying that you refused delivery... i'd be fuming!!! I agree with Jill, if the UPS dispatch is close enough to where you can pick them up yourself - -go there....... but in the meantime, i certainly would complain loudly to UPS.... maybe they will compensate you for the enzymes......

In the meantime, if no one can help you out sharing some of their enzymes with you.... call you vet and tell them you need an emergency script for some CREON, and although you might have to play around with the dosage, at least it should hold you over until you can get this UPS snafu straightened out.

Do you think I should order this from Amazon, eventhough seems so expensive - will it be OK as a plan B?

Unfortunately it doesn't matter if you order from enzymediane or pantenex or wonderlabs.. or some other enzyme company in the us..when shipping to Canada.. they have ALL have had issues with Canadian customs. One time something goes thru without problems and the next time, you don't get them, they are held up or returned. We strongly suggest to those that live in Canada to order way in advance .. and have an alternative source, if possible.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but switching companies will not solve the issue.. however, you do need enzymes... So ordering another batch from somewhere is wise.. or else gets Creon which is available in Canada and hence no custom issues which is why I suggested that first.
Hope this helps....

I stopped ordering enzymes from the US because of all the hassle! One order was lost in transit for 3 weeks; forcing me to order more.. praying it would come through without issue.

The lost order was ultimately found and delivered. But that experience, and hearing of all the orders getting refused in Customs, I decided I couldn't handle the stress!

I asked my vet for a script for Creon, and never looked back. For me, I found Creon worked the best. When I am getting very low, I just pop into the pharmacy and get the script filled.

The only drawback is that I had to start from scratch to find the "magic dose". It took some playing around, but did finally get there.

The cost is about the same once you factor in shipping, import and exchange rates. But no stress about ordering on time, weather, or Customs refusal. Just pop into your local pharmacy the day before you run out!

I'm in Ontario; so I doubt I could help much :(

Hi

I live in Perth west of Ottawa. I could spare some enzymes to tide you over. I buy enzymediane 6x. Have you had any luck tracking down your order?

Sadly, ordering from any US-based enzyme company—including enzymediane, pantenex, wonderlabs, or others—and sending it to Canada will result in problems with Canadian customs. When something goes through without a hitch once, it doesn't arrive the following time, is delayed, or is sent back. Those who reside in Canada are highly advised to place their orders well in advance and, if at all feasible, have a backup source.

Yes, we STRONGLY advise placing orders WAYYYyyyy in advance... at least a month or more before you will need the enzymes.
