I am truly so thankful for this site, the kindness of all y'all offering advice and your genuine concern. I really appreciate it. My girl Houston, a GS who will be 2 on the 30th was recently diagnosed with EPI. She has been on the enzymes for one full week. Last Saturday she received a B12 shot from her vet and they showed me how to do it. I did it yesterday and it went great! I have to tell y'all I was nervous.
What a difference a week makes. She is having normal stools. She definitely looks like she is gaining weight!! Throughout this she has always been energetic but just to see how she is thriving is an answer to prayers.
So thank you for your info, kindness and my prayers go up for all the precious pups and their families going through this.
Diane

Re: Thanks and an update
Way to go!!! That's awesome!
Montgomery was born 20 March 2012. He eats extra lean ground chicken, lean ground pork and lean ground beef completed with Alnutrin and freeze-dried chicken liver, with hard-cooked egg. He gets two size zero capsules of Enzyme Diane's enzymes at each of his six meals, and a size four capsule of Tylan three times a day. He's a fierce little Spitfire with a roaring Merlin engine.

thanks for the update Diane.... so sorry i am late to responding.....
This is great news and YES... it is amazing. SOmetimes when the B12 is low, no matter how many "right" things you do to manage the EPI, nothing will really work well until the B12 is taken care of!

Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
