Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
HI all,
For those that order from Enzyme Diane- are the ice packs necessary? It says usually they are not needed but not sure if I should order with or not? I live in San Diego and temps are around 70 right now...

We are from San Diego, California. Our chocolate lab mixed breed (father unknown) GUS was born June 5, 2018. At 8 months on February 22, 2019 he was diagnosed with EPI (LPI .5, Cobalamin 785, Folate 13.9).
We are still feeding Kahoots Grain Free Wild Caught Salmon with 1 tsp of Pancreazyme Enzymes per feeding.... planning to try Enzyme Diane 8x once we use up the prescription powder from the vet.
Trying to learn as we go! Gus also has his brother/best friend Louie the English Bulldog who doesn't like to be left out so he's in the picture too

Re: Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
Hi. I live in Nashville Tennessee and have been using Diane’s enzymes for almost 4yrs and have never ordered them with the ice pack. Best to check with Diane though as I’m sure the temperature out there can get higher than here in TN.
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.
Re: Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
Most of our orders ship without ice packs. No worries its shipping from Ohio we are 18 degrees and we worry when the internal temps get to above 85 for long periods of time but the short time in shipping you should be just fine.

Re: Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
I lived in NC and just moved back and i never ordered Diane's enzymes with an ice pack.... and never have had an issue in 12/+ years....
The only time i would consider and ice pac.... is if you have to order enzymes in the summer and the predicted temp's are in the high 90's or above AND no one is going to be home to got to the mailbox and get them when delivered... i think if there is going to be a problem it is when the enzymes are going to sit in the mail box all day long during really high summer heat....... my understanding is that it needs to get up to 130 degrees before the heat destroys the enzymes

Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

Re: Enzyme Diane Ice Pack?
Hi,
I am in Tucson, AZ. I try hard to make sure I have enough enzymes to make it thru June, July and August. I have had to order when our outside temp is >100 degrees. I do get the ice pack. AND....my neighbor gets the package for me and takes it into her home until I get home from work.
So far that has worked for the hotter summer months.
