Diane's Enzymes

Post by Tuckaboo Pam » 27 Jul 2019, 21:50

Just wondering---Who is this wonderful person, Diane, who provides these incredible, affordable enzymes?
Tucker was a shepherd mix--- TLI 1.3, Folate 9.7, Cobalamin 666, Lipase 38. Diane's Enzymes 4 t/day, B12 1 capsule/day, and Tylan 1/16 teaspoon/day. Taste of the Wild High Prairie, 4 c/day. 60 to 85 pounds! Tucker succumbed to hemangiosarcoma Nov. 2023. I will always, always miss my sweet big boy.

Now there's Nina. 5 year old GSD. TLI 1.0 B12 323. We are still tweaking her routine, and getting lots of help from the forum. She is klutzy and goofy, and we love her dearly, too.

Aaaaahhhhhh - she is our Enzyme Angel!! Diane had an EPI dog, Sarge, years ago and she saw the need for affordable enzymes - sooooo she started buying the enzymes in bulk from the same manufacturer of the other enzymes only she does not pay for advertising, fancy labels or containers so she is able to pass the savings on to us. I hate to think where some of these dogs would have ended up if it weren't for her. I can tell you the day I told my husband Doc had EPI and what the vet said it would cost to keep him alive, my husband immediately said we had to give him up - after having him a year (even if it had been one day LOL) - there was no way - so I went online, found the Epi4Dogs Foundation and through it I found EnzymeDiane. Here is a link to her story about Sarge https://enzymediane.com/info/sgt-hortons-history/
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.

Thanks for jogging my memory---Awhile back, I sent a question about dosing to the company, and I heard back from Diane herself, the same day. I had forgotten.

Wow, Sarge's story made me cry. My Tucker looked similar to Sarge in his skinny picture. I don't know how much he has put on since weighing in at 60 a few months ago, but he is fatter, more playful, hardly ever looks for poo to eat (unfortunately, he seems to have developed a taste for it gag), and the toilet paper dispenser hasn't been touched in awhile. I do notice he has a touch of yellow softy at the end of some of his poos, but the quantity is 25% of what it used to be, so I feel very lucky. Thanks, Madelon, for sharing Diane's story with me...it is very interesting.

I am horrible at posting pictures, BUT I joined the facebook group, and Tucker is in my profile picture. He was a wee 1.25 years in that picture, but I'll see if I can get it to you. Thanks for asking!---Pam
