6X vs 8X Enzymes
Hi, it's Pam, and I'm wondering if you all have opinions on 8X vs 6X enzymes. Any thoughts on effectiveness, cost, etc? Thanks, everyone. It's time to order. BTW, Tucker is lookin' handsome, carrying these newfound pounds around his waist. Sooooo handsome.
Tucker was a shepherd mix--- TLI 1.3, Folate 9.7, Cobalamin 666, Lipase 38. Diane's Enzymes 4 t/day, B12 1 capsule/day, and Tylan 1/16 teaspoon/day. Taste of the Wild High Prairie, 4 c/day. 60 to 85 pounds! Tucker succumbed to hemangiosarcoma Nov. 2023. I will always, always miss my sweet big boy.
Now there's Nina. 5 year old GSD. TLI 1.0 B12 323. We are still tweaking her routine, and getting lots of help from the forum. She is klutzy and goofy, and we love her dearly, too.

Re: 6X vs 8X Enzymes
The 6x is 1 level teaspoon per 1 cup kibble.
The 8x is 3/4 teaspoon per 1 cup kibble.
Personally if your pup is doing fine I would stay the course and not mess with it. Just me!

Re: 6X vs 8X Enzymes
I personally use the 6x because the measurements are in whole numbers - trying to divide fractions is way too difficult for me LOL. As Jill said if it ain't broke I wouldn't fix it
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.

Re: 6X vs 8X Enzymes
me too!!! i also use the 6x simply because it makes my life easier when figuring out how much enzymes to use with the food.
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
