USPS delays in enzyme shipments due to COVID

Post by Junosmom » 20 Jul 2020, 16:45

Hi, everyone- I wanted to give the EPI parents who are still on a learning curve (ahem....including me) a heads-up on current enzyme deliveries by the USPS during COVID (I get mine from EnzymeDiane): There appears to be potential delays in deliveries dates- mine was supposed to arrive this past Saturday, but I received a notification on that day that my order was still in transit with no new estimation of delivery date due to COVID (this was all due to the USPS- NOT EnzymeDiane). I called Diane today, and she is going to try to expedite an order to me in the meantime (She is the BEST of the best!). So my takeaway from this is to place orders a week or two earlier than normal.

So frustrating! Good advice and Yes Diane is the BEST!! I write the date I open my enzymes on the bag and I know they last just a little over two months so when I'm a month into them I go ahead and order so I give myself at least 4 weeks for delivery.
Madelon, owned by DOC. DOC dx EPI 5/2015 = TLI < .4, B12 406; Folate >24. DOC taught me so much and together we battled and overcame EPI, food sensitivies, environmental allergies but we lost the cancer battle. DOC was dx with hemangiosarcoma 5/2022 and crossed the rainbow bridge July 24, 2022. He is and always will be the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart dog.

So totally frustrating, indeed! I keep checking the status and it STILL hasn’t budged (the original order). I use the 500-g quantity monthly......admittedly, I haven’t embraced ordering the larger quantity yet, even though I know it’s a little cheaper in the long run. I’ll probably do baby steps by ordering an additional 500-g for the freezer and rotate (I TELL myself it’s logical, but really I know better  ).

I am so sorry this is happening to you.... it;s so frustrating when thing happen that are out of our control... Glad you spoke to Diane though, she is amazing and i am sure she will try to fix as best she can what the mailing service messed up *sigh* !!!!!
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........
