the one thing is, if your dogs parents had EPI then it could have been passed on genetically
we have had dogs as young as this tested positive for EPI, and younger, My vet told me my Kara at 14 months old was too young and to treat for IBD, so I stood my ground "its your dog your money"
he came back a few days later with a positive result, and fortunately my regular vet returned from holiday and he has treated EPI since the 80's Tylan is the way forward for EPI and other gastro issues, its a mild but effective antibiotic, with no known side effects
