Wet Cat Food Recommendation?

Post by Montgomery » 26 Oct 2021, 11:33

Can anyone recommend a wet cat food for Montgomery? I weaned him off the Roya Canin onto Science Diet only to have that disappear, too. He need a high fibre, low fat, turkey-free wet food.
Thanks!
Montgomery was born 20 March 2012. He eats extra lean ground chicken, lean ground pork and lean ground beef completed with Alnutrin and freeze-dried chicken liver, with hard-cooked egg. He gets two size zero capsules of Enzyme Diane's enzymes at each of his six meals, and a size four capsule of Tylan three times a day. He's a fierce little Spitfire with a roaring Merlin engine.

Here is a list of some high fiber. Not sure what constitutes low fat for cats.

There are a lot of options you can try. However, I like to use food that prevents different cat problems that might appear. So, I like the non prescription urinary cat food. I found this article months ago and completely changed my cat's diet. Just after one week, I saw major changes in her routine and observed the importance of giving your pet quality food. If you try these products, let me know what you think, or if you find anything even better, I would be happy to try something new and see which one will finally fit my cat the best.

I'd forgotten about this post. A lot has changed in the past year.
Montgomery no longer eats cat food.
His extra lean ground chicken, eggs, and lean ground beef come from the local grocery store. His Grandma Lucy's freeze-dried chicken livers come from homesalive.ca, and his Alnutrin completer comes from knowwhatyoufeed.com. Every mouthful of food this million dollar baby eats was prepared in his own kitchen, under his direct supervision. He will only eat it out of his pink kitty face dish, only if it's heated for thirteen seconds in the microwave, and only if it's topped with Bob's Red Mill nutritional yeast. Yes, it has to be that one.
He's gained three pounds. He has a coat softer than satin. He smells good. He has formed stool, and remarkably, at the age of ten years he is finally HOUSE-BROKEN! He's also a very happy little man, and we get to hear that gorgeous Merlin engine of his all the time.

Cats also love different food like popcorn. Although your cat can eat plain, unseasoned popcorn, there is a big catch. If your cat eats corn kernels in addition to its diet, it can lead to obesity, leading to various health issues. Most veterinarians recommend that if your cat eats corn kernels, it should be limited to one cup every six to eight weeks.

The naturopath said no plants.
He doesn't eat plants.
He's an obligate carnivore.
