Hi Mihai,
You are VERY welcome. With EPI.... there is an "initial" set protocol... but very often things have to be tweaked depending on the individual dog. Although this may take some time, it is well worth it, figuring out things one-step-at-a-time.... to see your dog at their best, once again.........
Olesia, was owned by Izzy, a 35lb Spanish Water Dog (SWD), Diagnosed at 1.5 years old - TLI results 1.. Izzy passed away on February 13, 2020 at 15 years old. She lived with EPI for 13+1/2 years. It was because of Izzy that Epi4Dogs was started... she was the inspiration. May her legacy of helping others with EPI continue for as long as needed.........

Thank you Barb. Looking forward to try the enzymes.

Starting tomorrow as I got some from Laura Fox who was recommended by Jean and Olessia and she kindly offered to spare some with me until I get my order from Chemeyes.

Will keep this thread updated.

Mihai, I can only imagine how heartbreaking Kaia's death has to be for you. She was so loved and left the world (and this community of dedicated helpers) so quickly. You and she are constantly in my heart, and I'm sure in the hearts of others.
Trixie is an Australian cattle dog or mix, likely born in the Fall of 2020. Picked up as a stray, she was already suffering undiagnosed EPI when we adopted her. Test later showed TLI <1 and cobalamin 189.

Her (non-standard) treatment is 1900 mcg of pure freeze-dried pork pancreas from Allergy Research Group per day. Also 1/4 teaspoon of slippery elm powder and 1/2 (previously one) capsule a day of WonderLabs TrinFac-B, all mixed into her food and served immediately, without the usual 20-minute wait.

We feed Canidae Angus Beef and Barley, which may not yet be the perfect food, but she's doing well and has "happy" normal poops.

Jean,

Thank you for your support, phone calls, and contacts provided.

You gave me so much hope and I am sure that if I would have found you earlier, Kaia would have been saved.

Thank you all for posting here and sharing your knowledge with me, I hope one day I could help you as well.

Unfortunately, Kaia was not under my care for the past 16 weeks and I only found out late about EPI condition.

The current owner, which tried her best, did not want to continue as she considered all efforts futile and decided it was better this way than Kaia suffering all her life.
