hard water and deposits are a pain for the washing machine and dish washer too
we have to add something called CALGON to the wash to help soften the water
I am so pleased that things are looking up
I didnt know that about Hostas
Hostas contain a variety of saponins that are toxic to dogs in other small animals. Saponins cause vomiting and diarrhea; these are the typical symptoms of hosta poisoning. It is important to avoid planting hostas on your property and to avoid these potted plants within the home if you own dogs.
maybe we need to start a page on things like this unless I have missed out on it

Re: Vomiting
This is a good idea, Jean. I recently found out that a plant I had in the sunroom was in the Lily family, which is also toxic to dogs. There are so many varieties of Lily plants inside and out.
